Backend-focused software engineer with 3+ years of professional experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable production systems. Core stack is Python/Django and Node.js/NestJS, with PostgreSQL as primary database — comfortable across the full stack with React/Next.js when a project needs it. Ships things that stay up: containerized deployments, cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, and CI/CD pipelines, not just code that runs on a laptop.
Day to day that means Django/DRF or NestJS on the backend, PostgreSQL as the default database, and Docker for anything that needs to run the same way in production as it does locally. When a project needs a frontend too, it's React or Next.js on top of the same backend — one person owning the whole vertical slice rather than a handoff between specialists.
